Screw Machine Capabilities
Drill, tap, thread, pipe thread, slot, knurl, turn, groove, back drill, mill & form.
Gent Machine operates 24 Model "B" Davenport multiple spindle screw machines. These machines are capable of producing parts from 12-foot bar stock in diameters from 1/8" to 7/8". The Davenport is perfect for long running, high volume jobs.
Our A20 Marubeni Citizen Swiss screw machines can work 12-foot bar stock in diameters from 3/32" to 7/8". The Swiss machine is perfect for high tolerance parts and for machining difficult materials such as 17-4 PH stainless, titanium and 4140 steel.
The Warner and Swasey is multiple spindle screw machine. It is capable of producing large diameter parts up to 1 ¾quot; in diameter. This machine is used to service existing customers who purchase parts from our Davenport & Swiss departments.
The remaining machines at Gent Machine are used in secondary operations that are not capable of being produced in the primary operation. These chuckers and lathes are perfect for secondary threading, slotting, tapping, drilling, turning, and knurling.
