Gent Machine has now 4 run different ball studs jobs in the last 5 years. Although we were told we were “competitive” on 6 different ball studs, we were only awarded the four. The 4 we have run range from 1215 and 12L14 steel to 303 stainless and sizes from 7/16″ to 5/8″.
Gent Machine has received recognition in the local press highlighting a business expansion following the acquisition of neighboring property and upgrade with addition of machinery, including two new CNC machines.
GTo keep up with customer’s demands, Gent Machine has added another new machine. This time we’ve increased our capabilities by adding a 32mm capacity sliding headstock automatic, also known as a swiss style cnc machine, from Citizen. It is a model A32 type VII which has milling, cross drilling, cross tapping, face milling, polygon milling, simultaneous machining of the front and back spindle to reduce cycle time, high pressure coolant, and automatic bar feeding capabilities. This falls in line with our current machine capabilities but increases the size to 1.25″ diameter capacity.As with our recent multispindle CNC purchase, we hope this machine opens up new opportunities for customers with larger part needs.
